... you know, where the big is sagging way the **** off... so the ballhandler comes off the screen with two counties between him and a help defender...?

It seems like the jazz defense is plagued by over-helping in some situations, and very poor PnR D.

please advise.

You could argue that Raptors aren't a very good 3PT shooting team but we did the same thing against GSW. Raptors are 13th in 3PT FG.

Only logical assumption I can come to is that if our Center trapped the opposing PG it would leave us with no rim protection. Since Burke gets lost on screens, guy defending the corner 3 has to help which is often late. That leaves his man open. Josh Salmons in this case.

****. There is no logic in that.

can someone explain me why Corbin was chosen as a head coach of this organization after Sloan? Nope. And Kanter ffed his wife or what? Serious question.

You've been Corbined!!!

Just turn off your brain and the Jazz's defense will make perfect sense.

I had a .gif thread about this before it got trolled to death. It is the burden I carry...

Dumping on blue coverage is fine, you want to give that shot to everyone (ask Trey and Hayward, the queens of Corbin doesn't make us re-screen left so we chuck **** into the glass). Dumping deep when they go center is tougher to manage. I hate it when quick footed 4's dump; Corbin needs to make Jeremy and Marvin flash.

Yeah, if they're going against the 4, then the 5 can still help, so flashing or hedging seems like the best option in that case.

Flashing the 5 with a stretch 4 as your only paint guy isn't a great philosophy. Any time the big fails in the flash/hedge and there's going to be an easy scoring opportunity.
