If I gave the impression that I have some sort of power over my wife, I apologize. To them, going to Yuba to fish for pike and/or camp sounds like a day at the dentist office; doesn't take more than mentioning it for them to tell me no thanks. The bad part is that for my wife, it's quid pro quo, so a day of fishing for me is equal to a day of shopping for her and the girls. I lose either way, tbh.
