When the season started, Jazzfanz were as splintered on how the season would go as Christians were on the nature of God before the council of Nicaea. Some were thinking 3rd worse behind the Suns, Sixers and Celtics, while others shouted otherwise in tactless tones that rang loud in the ears of those on different planes of opinion. Most said we wouldn't win over 30 games while others proclaimed playoffs and 8th seed. Then came November. We stunk up game after game and it was rancid. Something unprecedented in Jazzland. To be so bad. It was ugly. So ugly that if the Jazz had a mother, our play equated to a face not even a mother could love. I'm thinking a female who's face is crossed with Charlie Villanueva, Rosie O'Donnell, and a rat; you get the idea. Our opinion of how the Jazz would fair became united, after 17 games though. Maybe we were never more united and, paradoxically, excited on how bad we were. And the Stars were aligning. However, by the time December rolled around, things began to change. We became a .500 ball club. An Infusion of Marvin Williams and Trey Burke into the Starting line-up transformed us. Instead of the rat faced Rosie Villanueva, we became that girl who rates at about a 5, after everyone's had a few beers. The Winning aroused the indignation of the masses. Still does. When we look back, we see a season that after a month was full of promise, and slowly lost promise as we were flanked and out tanked. As Lenry Bongfellow once said:

"The Depths by shrewd men, reached and kept,
were not attained by sudden dives,
but they while the other GM's had slept,
were toling downward in the night."

Our love for DL has been intermittent because of this and the notion that we are winning too much has become the most dominant thread (no pun intended) on Jazzfanz.

It does seem obvious that the Bucks, Magic and Sixers will finish worse than us in the standings by the end of the year. Where do you think we'll be slotted before the Lottery?

Im picking 5th because I want it to be 5th. Its a lucky number.

We might end up with the 8th or 9th with the way we are going.

Will the Jazz continue to hold Favors out so we can tank, and sit other players as well? Or we will the Jazz FO go full blown retard and ef this up?

We need to sit Derrick Favors and play John Lucas the 3rd 35 minutes a night... Pretty sure that would ensure the 5th pick

If you are Favors, dont you sit yourself to help the tank? Hes already paid. I would if I was him.

Glad to report that the Kings are about to get the W over the Nuggs. Still need the lakers to win more and the Warriors to lose more doe.
