OK, since we've been so harsh on Corbin (and I still say he has to go), I've got to give him props for his rotation today.

Hayward - 38 mins
Burks - 38 mins
Burke - 31 mins
Favors - 31 mins
Kanter - 30 mins

Jefferson - 20 mins
Williams - 15 mins
Evans - 20 mins
Garrett - 14 mins
Gobert - 1 min

Really can't argue when the Core5 all get at least 30 mins. Evans has been playing well, so he gets time at PF vs. Gobert playing the minutes behind Favors.

Perhaps had this been the recipe from Day 14 (when Burke became the starter), I'd be happy. Why did it take THIS LONG for Corbin to finally use these players the proper amount?

I wouldn't be so positive about Corbin. He was almost forced to play Kanter and Burks due to RJ-MW foul trouble

Because Corbin is very stubborn. Also, he seems to be slow in picking up things.

Perhaps the minute distribution and they fact that the young guys played some together is the reason I thought this was one of the best games of the year.

Ya know, I kind of think that the reason Corbin has lasted so long is because of the influence of Jerry, who mentored him. Jerry as some have suggested probably still has lot of influence in what the Jazz do, and Corbin has manifested some of Jerry's qualities, especially his stubbornness and reliance on vets, though I think Corbin gives vets more priority than Jerry did.

I am pretty sure that some posters will still find a way to not give Corbin credit. Look Latin just proved my point. I cannot understand the complete hate that most Jazz fans have for Corbin. You would think he stole their GF/Wife from them.

He was forced to play Burks and Kanter more than normal because Williams and Jefferson got into foul trouble. I'm happy to give him credit for playing them more when he does it because he realizes that it's the best option for now and the future. If he does that, then he deserves the credit for doing so regardless of if they win or lose.

I'm sorry to inform you, but that is what happened... He just dresses so darn good...

Hate to inform you, but Corbin was forced to play Burks and Kanter extra minutes because of foul trouble.

There's an echo in here.

When Ty does something worth getting credit for, most of us will give him credit for it. If he's forced to do it because of injury or fouls, then he doesn't really deserve it.

I was so happy to see the core 5 playing extended minutes together. I asked god if he would give this to me, and since it was my birthday, he did.

Next year I'll ask if they can play the whole season together.

I don't care why, I was just happy to see Kanter/Favors play more minutes together and during that time the kept it very close against the best team in the league.

Just be happy.

Corbin played in the nba yet none of you moronic Mormons did.....Yet yall know whats best for the team and how to get wins....LOL, must be to much inbreeding going on in Utah because this is just dummy thinking

Did you watch the game? I am sorry to burst your bubble but I am simply stating the facts. Corbin was forced to play Kanter because Marvin got into foul trouble trying to defend David West. The poor man was eaten alive. Same goes with RJ who had 4 fouls at the beginning of the 3Q.

I am no hater. I think he was thrown into a difficult situation the first couple of years (sloan leaving, lock-out...) but then I feel he underachieved in so many things (rotations, team defense,...)

I had given credit when due. Against the pacers I liked how the players shared the ball and fought until the end. The rotations? As I said, thank RJ and MV who got into foul trouble

We are 59 games in and only now is Corbin playing the c5?

And you want to congratulate him?

This would be like the USA in 1985 finally reacting to the Pearl Harbor attack.

It is frustrating as hell. Just play Favors and Kanter together. If we lose it's ok, thats what this season is about...see what we got, learn and plan for next season and beyond
