Following potential 2014 draftees

Dude won't bust. As long as he doesn't break like Shaun Livingston and Kerry Kittles.

He's a guard though. He's not big enough weight/strengthwise to be a swingman.

Okay, fine. I'm pimping Exum.

Totally agree. Think Exum is going to really shine. He's got that elite skill.

that pic is from the Hoops summit where he was measured at 6'6" with a 6'9.25" wingspan at 188lbs

apparently in the last calander year Exum has added 17lbs and is up to 195ish

hes recently moved to LA to prepare for the draft so you can bet hes going to kill it at the combine.

- his head is up near the rim on this dunk, i think in this thread his lack of vertical has been way overstated

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61VxehrN7-s is my favorite Exum play, i dont need to see him play 30 games in college to determine if that crossover is elite

Looks like a pretty good gamble for our GSW late lottery type pick.

LOL.. just finished watching the highlight:

- more athletic than Hayward (look at that alley-hoop reverse dunk at 1.23min, don't think Hayward can do that)

- better 3pt shooter potentially (43% for the year)

And who can't you say that about? Name me one player in this upcoming draft. TIA.

Eh, I knew I was gonna get caught up in that argument. One I actually agree with. IMO there are tiers of "certainty":

-LeBron, Howard,Duncan, Shaq

-Davis, Irving, Paul, Dwill etc (guys that you aren't taking a gamble on but aren't like the above.

-Noah, Love, Curry, Gordon etc.

Every tier down is a higher bust potential. You have to admit that.

For every Curry or Noah there are 10 Wes Johnson's and Thabeet's. IMO, Exum could easily be one or the other. He's not a tier one or two guy in this scenario.

You're selling Anthony Davis low. 2 years from now you'll wipe your eyes and see the guy who's slowly coming after Kevin Durant for the crown as the best active basketball player on the planet.

Agree. Plus he is getting better at a rapid and consistent rate.

More than Giannis had this time last year.

Thanks for the video. I think the kid looks great and I think he can play PG. I would love it if the Jazz could some how make a deal for another high draft pick. Say we do a trade with Boston. Jazz take on Wallace's contract, get Boston 2014 1st and send 2016 1st round pick a couple seconds, Hayward (sign and trade) and Burke. Jazz draft Wiggins/Parker and then Exum. Hire Brad Jones and bring in a couple solid glue vets who will improve the bench. If the Jazz have to they can trade 2015 and 2017 1st round picks with top 10 protect to start. I know it is a dream but what else is there to dream about when you are old.

Exum
Burks
Wiggins
Favors
Kanter

Wallace
Gobert
Neto/Garrett
23rd round pick
