What's new

Detroit Pistons @ Utah Jazz

UGLI being a baby. Just accept the fact that in every scenario Aaron Gordon is the best player and we will get him no matter what.

Im getting there...... slowly

Two important tank games tonight.

TOR @ CLE
NYK @ LAL

Also:

POR @ ORL
OKC @ DAL

Obviously pulling for all the home teams. The Knicks @ Lakers is HUGE.

Even if we weren't in the tank race I would still want the lakers to win tonight. I really don't want to see them get another star.

I love losses.

But the way we are losing is unacceptable.

The damage being done by Corbin might take years to fix.

Favors is a shadow of his former self. Burke makes JR smith look like Stockton. We still play marv and Jeff too much. No Gobert? Kanter looks lost more than ever.

Our fight is less and less. No competitive spirit. Defense is getting worse.

And now we can't even compete longer than 5 mins against even the worst teams on our home court!

Tanking ain't easy....

Guys- what exactly did Burke say?

Trey Burke @ 7:40

Gordon Hayward 2:35 --has the most reasonable response

Richard Jefferson 2:37 . He shouldn't have an opinion since he won't be here next year. His motive is a new contract.

For the tecord, I am for development, not tanking, but I do celebrate thes losses.

I think he is right, at some point one of the Jazz players has got to step up and be a leader.

Sidney Lowe did a radio interview on 1280 a couple of weeks ago just after the jazz played the spurs. The host said, wow the spurs are great, Greg Popovich does a greet job doesn't he?

Lowe was very quick to say the spurs were great because Tim Duncan and Tony Parker were team leaders who held their teammates accountable, and sure everyone was doing what they needed to win.

The keen host quickly asked, " we'll is there a player on the Jazz that has those leadership qualities?"

And then there was an uncomfortable silence, until Lowe carefully, timidly replied, " I think Trey Burke could be a leader someday."

Jazz tried to make Hayward the leader, and it didn't work. Coach Ty may suck, I don't know. But the lack of leadership hasn't helped him one bit.

could you expound on your sig. I am interested to hear why you feel thus.

Yep. Jazz can't do anything to please anyone it seems. Win and they are destroying future of franchise. Lose and they are quitters who don't care and have given up. News flash . A team can't lose as many games as you want without playing poorly at times or often. This season is turning out to be no fun and the tank talk is a big reason for it. I'm still for the tank but I'm weary of it and the endless talk about it. I hope this is the last of it when this season ends and it can't end soon enough. It's become boring and tedious.

It's gunna continue until the draft. If we don't get parker/wiggins/embiid and one of them blows up, prolly gunna hears about for years.

I was at the game last night and it was awful. The team played crappy defense. Even Favors didn't play good. Kanter played hard but still has some lapses on defense. My biggest beef is the Jazz kept on forcing 3s and we were missing all of them. Kanter actually shot decently when they fed him the ball down low. But the team quit on the coach. Even when they nailed a 3 to bring it to a 12 point game the players still had a look on their face like they quit. Corbin's coaching did nothing to bring up their game
