Burks: The king of putting up stats vs bad teams or in blowouts vs good teams.

This game against bogut and last game against the brow.

dem poor interior defenders doe

#AaronGordon

This is what really attracts me to Gordon. I hate his offensive game (or lack thereof). But defensively, he has the potential to be a real leader and disrupter. A Ben Wallace, younger KG, or Noah like influence who can guard multiple positions (making P&R less effective against us) and rally the troops. Unfortunately, Favors just doesn't have the attitude or personality to rally the troops defensively. He's just too passive

He plays good in other games too, but he really does excel at getting his in these kind of games.

close loss against miami and a win against denver are his best games of his career.
Also game 1 against okc was another very close game and i believe he had 26 pts and 7 assists.

I know you just trollin doe

And by pieces you mean 2 out of 12, right? The Double Bs we keep. Everyone else goes.

if we get rid of favors, he gonna avg 18/10 for other team. sigh

just keep young guys. get rid of old. draft randle/gordon/exum/smart and draft stauskas.

and tank 1 more year. get another top 5 pick. and get horny.

that's why we need to draft a scorer with our warriors pick. stauskas baby

Since Burks is primarily a slasher, we need an SF who can drill jump shots and space the floor. Hayward and Burks are a bit redundant that way. Someone has to be a confident distance shooter.

Edit: Maybe Hayward can refind his shooting touch and be that guy.

That's why Hayward needs a number 1 option by him.

I was impressed that burks never gave up tonight.
In a game that didnt matter and that the jazz had no chance to win, he just kept attacking and being aggressive.

He was getting knocked down all game long and just kept getting up and coming back for more.

It would have been easy to just mail it in tonight but he never did.

Hard to get up for this type of game, yet burks puts up a great performance

He's going to go mid teens though, maybe even lottery. I'd like to snag him though.

this draft is very deep, so anything can happen. some mocks still have him at late 20's. many guys emerged in the tourney, so hopefully he is available.

if he had glennn robinson's body he would've been top 7 pick. lol but his physical limitation may drop him few spots. i still think glenn robinson, aaron harrison, anthony, etc will get picked ahead of stauskas

There's a chance, it's not very likely though. But if GS missed the playoffs...

I call confirmation bias. There have been plenty of games in which Hayward has outplayed Burks.

Burks to me is an alley ball player.

He is good at it.

Dives into piles and gets calls.

My concern with him is

1. 1:1 alley ball should only be used when shot clock down.
2. Teammates will disengage

The GS announcers last nite were ripping Trey at the onset for taking as many shots as he has this year.
I agree with that as well.

I like sharing the ball, high assists.

We have a lot of Burks & Burl 1:1 1:many taking shots. I'm happy Burks is getting his points I guess but diving into bodies and getting lots a free throws is very boring to me.

I still think this team has an issue with Burks & Hayward. I really do not think they like each others play.

Decisions.....

I'm still calling it....Ty...Gone.... Hayward - 12million...Jazz do not match.
