A reasonable interpretation of HANTLERS take on it.

What's supposed to the the swing and miss? Hantler's take was "- white people are trying to keep the black man down by not hiring any black people". You thought the primary motivation for an author to say that was "some guy who doesn't like white people trying to justify his own biases and possible failures in life", as opposed to 'some guy whose made a conclusion based on statistics', 'some guy who has had experiences I have not', 'some guy trying to share his worldview', etc.

Hantlers did not say anything about a dislike for white people; you added that. Hantlers did not offer anything about being a need to "justify"; you added that. Hantlers did not say anything about failures; you added that. You took what Hantlers said, and added the dislike, justification, and failure out of your own cognitive biases.

I'm sure you feel a need to respond to this. Honestly, I hope you wait a day or so and think about it before you respond.
