Right now, I go with Favors and Hayward as the best two way pair of the bunch. Kanter and Burks have great offensive potential, but are lacking defensively. Burke and Gobert were good picks in a bad draft. As much as I love Rudy's attitude and defensive potential, I think the team is best off with both of them coming in off the bench. If Exum becomes the player that the Jazz hope he will be - a true, All Star #1 option - then him and my grandma would be the best draft. . . Hood is a bonus.
I'm hoping for a Favors, Kanter, Hayward, Burks and Exum starting lineup, with Gobert, Evans/Novak, Hood, and Burke playing off the bench. Still hope they bring over Tomic and Neto also. This lineup changes if they make a run for a different starting SF (like Deng or Ariza) and keep Hayward primarily at SG.
As for Exum, I see him as a future PG who can dominate because of his size, speed and passing. Hopefully Snyder and Co. can help coach up his shot mechanics, P&R decision making and shot selection. I think it depends on who is on the court with him. Hayward and/or Burks and he's the primary PG - leading the charge and facilitating. When Burke or (eventually) Neto are out there with him, they go with a 2 PG system that can push up the court from either side. In that instance, I see him as an off ball playmaker.
