All-Time NBA Draft (not just international)

I think it would be hard to compare the dream to Russel if it wasn't for Chamberlain. Chamberlain was a better on both ends of the court than Hakeem. Chamberlain would get you more points, boards, blocks and still give you 4 assists. He was bigger, stronger, and could leap out of the gym. With all that Russel still bested him repeatedly. here is a little video on Chamberlain. Check out how high he would get in the air in his prime. (yes that is the terminator saying Chamberlain would lift him with one arm like it was nothing)

top 5 centers all time

1. Russell
2. Chamberlain
3. Hakeem
4. Kareem
5. Shaq

If you want your C to be your leading scorer you take one of the other guys. Russel could score and was a fantastic athlete but he liked to play ball in a system, team oriented Duncan type.

Russell had a better team than Chamberlain, switch Chamberlain and Russell and Wilt would probably have 13 titles.

Hakeem is the all time leader in blocks buddy, and no way he's a better defender then the Dream. Chamberlain was a scorer. That is what defined his game. The Dream is the most versatile center to ever play the game. If you look at the stats I posted on Hakeem, you can make a case for him being a top 5 defender in the history of the nba.

If your building a team there's no way you take Chamberlain or Russell over Hakeem

I was the first to take a C, so what does that tell you. There were no weaknesses to Hakeem's game and did most things at an elite level.

You mean like in 68 and 69 when Chamberlain had Elgin ****ing Baylor and still lost to Russell.

Blocks were not a statistical category back then. Hakeem was not the shot blocker that Russell or Chamberlain was.
