If you catch it in the end zone it's a TD. A fumble after the TD is already scored is irrelevant. So it was a catch and fumble out of bounds which means ball to oregon state on the 20 right?
They had 2 weeks to figure this out. I didn't see anything new. Booker is not going to be able to be the whole offense all season. If you're going to run every time at least put poole back there with booker.
ThisRelegation will never happen for one reason:
Money.
Washington State, Kentucky, Kansas, etc would never vote for relegation.
The problems with this offense for the last three years, begin and end with Dres Anderson. He is awful. He dropped three ball vs UCLA last year. Two led to INT's and the third was at the end of the game on fourth down that would have given Utah a first down. In the OSU game last year, Dres had two balls that he tipped that were INT's. Utah goes bowling last year if Dres can catch the ball.
Against WSU, Dres dropped a TD. If he catches that ball, Utah beats WSU and is undefeated right now. In the fourth quarter, Dres had a ball that would have been a first down hit him in the chest and he dropped. The drive ended.
In this game, Dres dropped two TD passes. 14 points. We ended up with two FG's instead. If he catches one of those passes, we win in regulation. Later, Dres had another pass hit him in the chest, tipped it up in the air, INT for OSU. OSU kicked a FG off that TO. If Dres catches that ball, and drops the two TD's, we win in regulation.
We did not go bowling last year because of Dres Anderson. We are not undefeated right now because of Dres Anderson. If Dres Anderson could catch the ball, this offense looks 100% completely different. If Dres can catch the ball, we are coming off a bowl season last year and are 6-0 right now and ranked #6 in the country. If Dres could catch...If only...

While Dres has been brutal and did single handedly cost Utah a win in regulation tonight, it can't be ignored that Utah lacks a forward passing game across the board. Take Dres out of the equation. I don't think it's too much to ask for this offense to be able to hit on at least 50% of some quick hit, 5 and 10 yard patterns and keep a defense somewhat honest.
They better get their **** together because Booker ain't going for 200+ against USC. Don't get me wrong, this win was gritty as hell and I couldn't be more proud but it's gonna take a better passing game for Utah to do anything special. The crazy thing is, Booker, the defense, and special teams are so good, that if this team could just find a way to produce 175-200 yards passing per game, they'd have a chance to win any game left on the schedule.
I am not going to excuse dres dropping the ball but if 1 RB gets all the yards it's hard to say that the problems are all on 1 receiver.
Booker is a stud all he needs is for there to be the slightest hint of a passing threat and for the plays not be so damn obvious.
