I think the author makes a lot of good points. Burks extension seems maybe 60/40 and Kanter extension seems very unlikely.

I love how pretty much everyone who has anything to say sees Snyder as an "upgrade" over Corbin.

Unknown quantity seems to be the last thought on anyone's mind. They know Corbin sucked and they know, at least, Snyder doesn't.

But yeah, Burks, he's dope.

Good article, thanks for posting - as the season progresses it's going to become readily obvious that Kanter just doesn't fit in QS's system. I'm not thrilled about it because I've always rooted for the guy - it's just one of those things when you have a change in culture.

I think DL is trying to trade Kanter right now - definitely by the deadline. Anyway, I just don't see him coming back next year.

If we can get Burks at $9M per I'd be stoked... then he can just play basketball.

I'm not a big Kanter fan... i see some progress with his ball movement, but I'm not convinced he'll space the floor well enough. Unless he accepts something very low (like $6-7 M per year) I wouldn't extend the guy. If I thought we could get a half decent return I would trade him, but best scenario right now is to let him play it out and see what he can give us. If he stays on the team I could see him accepting the QO next year... I don't know what team will open up the coffers for him this summer.

I could see Boston and Milwaukee being interested trade partners... Maybe the Lakers. Can't see a scenario where Charlotte would be interested.

Snyder doesn't seem to be a huge fan of players who can't shoot. I know his defense is stellar, but I just don't see him fitting.

I don't think Charlotte would make the trade either.

I agree with the bolded.

As for the unbolded: I don't think we can trade Kanter for someone without flaws. So, I've lowered my aim to other players who are having a hard time fitting where they are. MKG is at the top of that list. Just throwing it out there.

Agree... there have been a lot of really well written articles featuring the Jazz lately. It is also hilarious to see the Corbin bashing outside of Utah.
