If I had never seen these Clippers play before, I would think they were something more than a middling team who will never make it past the second round. The Jazz make them look like Harlem Globetrotters.

I know we're supposed to be patient, but we're at home, the Clippers are a dreadfully average team, and they played last night and had to fly.

Clippers an average team? They may not be playing great ball right now, but they are far far above average.
