Srsly why the hell do so many Utahns have 4?

My infant allowed me about 2 hrs sleep last night. Tonight I caved and let my daughter have a sleepover and the little ******** are still awake.

"hey Tomorrow let's blah..blah.. blah.."

Go to ****in sleep

Srsly they just now came and asked me if I would make them pancakes in the morning. There is no ****in way they will even be awake in the morning. I'm sure on the other hand that my infant son will be up bright and early. "Dad, I crapped on everything and that made me kinda hungry. Get me some ****in breakfast."

anyway I'm goin out for a pack of smokes. Be back in 5
 
Man up. My 5.5 month old is sick and up every hour and a half with crazy mucus that she needs me to suck out of her nose.
 
This doesn't even compare, but we're crate training a 7 week old puppy. I can't even imagine what an infant is like, I'm definitely not ready for that.

Some dick told me that once you have three it may as well be more because nothing really changes after three.

Nice rant. We've all been there.

My first child slept for only 6 hours a night (intermittently and being rocked half the damn time) and took 2 20 minute naps for the first 18 months. My wife and I were both legally insane at times.

Not getting sleep is one of the main reasons why I'm reluctant to ever have kids.
 
i have two kids, one is 3 years and the other 4 months. I also work from home and watch them every day while working, while my wife finishes nursing school. Meeting strict deadlines while feeding, bathing, playing with, changing, cleaning up after 2 kids. You need to man up, its not that hard.

Ya man. She's too tiny to be outside right now, and we don't have a fenced in yard. I have a wireless fence setup, but she's too small for the collar. This is mainly just to teach her to be a good, well-mannered dog. I don't want her barking a lot.

So train the dog to be an inside puppy. Our dog stays inside and can hold its bladder for at least 14 hours while we're at work or go to a friend's party or what have you...never tested longer but could probably hold for 18-20 I'd bet...no messes in the house. Nada. We let it out about 4-6 times a day.

Gotcha. Does she have a tendency to bark a lot? Can she wear a harness at that age? Harnesses are supposedly much better than collars and we have ours on a collar and when we put her out, we simply attach her 30 foot runner to the harness and she does her business. We too don't have a fence.

I had me a female black lab named Jade that I got when i was 19. Best dog ever. She listened so good and was so well behaved. I hope yours ends up even half as good.

One thing I learned is that lab pups and adults) live to chew. Always have lots of approved things for her to chew on available to her throughout the house and encourage her to chew them. Should help keep her from chewing the things you don't want her to chew.

Also my girl loved to play fetch. It was easy for me and at the same time it was a great way to get her to expend her energy

Okay.. but the issue was method of potty training.. how did you do it?

Crate training is always the best..... if you can do it.

I have found it difficult with some dogs

It's usually the owner that finds it difficult. With some dogs it definitely requires a greater commitment, but it is the only way to go.

Rubbing noses in "accidents" doesn't work.
