Pfft. He's too old. Time to make way for the four year olds.
They are, and you're welcome, Square. They are a few pervs on this board who wouldn't get them from me, but you seem like a good, reasonable sort.
I'm not certain what you are getting at. Are you saying that PT does nothing for player maturation?
And if Sloan won't change his philosophies then what needs to happen is we need to move the players that will not work for him and replace them with players that will. The real problem I have is that not only are some players not prepared but they are unprepared because they don't work for Sloan- so get rid of them.
It's a damn shame coach didn't play 15 players a night at thirty minutes a game. THAT'S development right there.
Can't see anything in my post that would claim that. Minutes is only one part of the equation. You have to earn minutes. Can't just be given them and hope that those minutes somehow "develop" you. You get tired after five minutes of play, why should you play? You don't play yourself into game shape anymore. If you can't run the offense in practice, how the hell you going to run it properly in game conditions? Minutes help. Being in game conditions help, but minutes don't guarantee that a player will improve.
And define being "unprepared" to be ready to play. That makes no sense to me.
If you can't see anything in your post that would claim that then it's likely we are incompatible regarding communication.
Guys like Jason Hart got a lot of NBA playin time, before and after he came to the Jazz. For some reason, it just didn't develop him into a starting-quality player--or even an adequate back-up.
Quote specifics that you say would hint that. Not my problem if you think my typing an inane formula that is obviously too simplistic and absolute to be a real world application is suggestive of an absolute in the opposite direction.
No I don't think I will. Clearly you don't use communication you abuse it.
*shrug* Then don't expect to be taken at all seriously. At least S2 puts reason and examples into his posts (even if they're sometimes irrelevant to what he's arguing).
