Hope you’re right. If we keep Kessler and Nurkic gets a small role next year then it ultimately becomes a nbd trade that frees up more young player playtime which is the overall goal.
If this heralds some Kessler for Reaves trade then it becomes so much worse…
And it really doesn’t make sense whatsoever unless there are other moves planned…
I don’t get this at all. If Sexton really had negative value, which really doesn’t make sense, then just keep him. Giving a pick to move him for another vet who is an absolute bum is so dumb,
That’s fine, but if a single person, fan or draft analyst, had made a scouting report about what Jokic could be (would become) based on the skills he had as a prospect, would that then change things?
I suppose it has to be a ‘consensus’… back to bowing out
Development outliers are a guarantee in every draft so chucking them out seems like an odd thing to do.
I guess I am making it too complicated so I’ll bow out. But to me talking it through is a bit more interesting than just fishing for a ‘yes’
What’s the criteria?
Donovan had great defensive potential when coming out, and an offensive ceiling that no one could have even fathomed. If he had hit his defensive potential and still became the same offensive player, that’s hard to beat.
