I remember when the Jazz traded all their roll players and their future picks for the player that would put the Gobert/Mitchel Jazz over the top. Conolly was a really good player, but that deal sunk any chance for the Jazz to improve for years .
I think 1 game may be too small of a sample to declare THT the MVP and Lauri a bust. Remember THT had 1 40 point game for the Fakers and Lauri has been consistently great this year.
Even if it turns into a 5-10 pick, the players we traded and paying a player $40 million not to play should have been enough without giving up 3 2nd round picks too.
We traded 4 solid to good players and 3 2nd round picks for 2 players that probably won't contribute, 1 player that probably will never play here and the only thing we received was a possible #1 that is really only a guaranteed 2nd. I think the Wolfs dragged their feet long enough to get some...
There are no guarantees you won't be hit by a bus the next time you cross the street, but we can always hope that you don't. The likelihood that we get THE lottery pick we would all like is probably less than getting hit by the bus. I think we should try and win as much as possible and trust...
That is true, but if you look at what Rudy gave us at the same point in his career as Kesler is, Rudy was no where near as good as Kesler is. I'm interested to see where his progression ends up.
Even if we finished #30 there are no gaurantees we get the supposed fenom. From what I've seen of him, he's a heck of a player, but that frame he has IMHO is going to be injury prone.
