i aint paying to move up the line at mcdonalds when i can go to five guys instead. i don't see it. he's undersized and plays like it. he'll have a hard time getting that great shot off when he can't shoot over his defender and doesn't look like a natural playmaker. i'm saying it here: trey...
Sorry fellas, i don't see it, he's been mostly embarrassed by his defenders. i wouldn't have minded taking him with the second pick, but moving up was definitely a stretch.
Blew my mind when they guaranteed Svi. Not in a good way. i guess he's kind of athletic, but when he plays his 'feel' is completely different than all the other players on the floor. Kind of janky. I mean, he might eventually learn better and become something, but at 28 he's a little (a lot)...
If a team is trying to win, defense is the first priority for me. Flip shouldn't see the outside of the Stars practice facility before he learns to defend. It looks like Keyonte is moving in that direction. It's the reason that Sensabaugh is sixth man at best. They are all good athletes...
Nah, because his teammate Dylan Harper was right along side him and went number two. i think we can all agree from how he played yesterday that it probably should have been 2 and 2a between those two. I bet some teams didn't draft him simply based on principle. don't draft the arrogant guy.
if the vets play well, the team will trade them away for future assets or a project or two. they've done it before. if they don't play well, we will probably be 2-4'th pick which is probably about right for our talent minus the expendable vets.
Remember that time when the Jazz drafted Udoka Azubuike right at the same time as when Gobert was in contract talks, possibly as a way of saying 'we can survive without you'? I like this way better, it's cheaper and less long term.
Based on the rookie pay scale, Cooper cost Ace upwards of 2 million per year through his rookie deal just so that he could get his son back into the NBA. No wonder Ace let the guy go.
And the plot thickens:
Ace parts ways with Omar Cooper
It starts to look to me like Omar was using Ace to get his son back into the NBA by leveraging with the wizards. more scum than i thought he was.
the thing that i noticed most on the article is the son of the 'not' agent guy that the wiz signed to a ten day to try and bring ace to them. just like the jazz picking up various friends of players to try and keep them happy. sneaky sneaky, but cost ace millions of dollars because he should...
he needs to learn to shoot and then try to get back in. plenty of athleticism and speed, but if you can't shoot you aren't a basketball player, you are a gymnast.

Should we try and get the guy when he is inevitably let go?
