Any SA pick is going to be mid to lower first round. They should be giving a lot more than a #2 pick. Markkanen is the best offensive player on the Jazz. He had a bad year last year and still average close to 20 points. San Antonio does not really need Harper. They already have Castle and Fox.
Most of the guys Danny has drafted are 19 or 20 years old so there are going to be growing pains but you can't write them off yet. Give them a few years.
This ranks right up there with the worse moments in Jazz history. I hate the NBA. Dallas gets reward and Phil. I don't even care who we take. I have been watching the NBA when they were taping the games and showing them later.
If the Jazz don't get the #1 pick then tanking was not worth it. I certainly don't want to tank again because there is no guarantee of the top pick. Was not impressed with the Duke center during the NCAA tournament. His hands were made of stone and his offense was limited.
I think Denim should stay another year. His play overall was subpar. Plus BYU would have a chance to go even farther with the new additions. Denim needs to work on his body and his shooting.
Since changing to the lottery format, does anyone know how often the team with the worst record got the first pick. I was hoping that the Jazz would stay at 3. Which lotto ranking has move up to get the number 1 pick? Is the 5th pick the lowest the worst record team can drop?
You find a gem in the draft. Jokic was a 2nd round pick. Kobe and Malone were end of lottery picks. Stockton was the 16th pick. There many examples of great players found down in the draft. You don't pass on great players. Giannis was there for the Jazz and they passed on him. I am sure Philly...
I think the San Antonio Spurs might disagree with your point of view. You have to be lucky in the draft. How disappointing it would be if Utah finishes in the bottom 3 and then drops lower. People need to remember that teams win Championships so one player even a superstar isn't enough...
I know it was a good loss for the tanking but there are some frightening stats that keep showing up in Jazz box scores. Turnovers. steals and blocks seem like there is a huge disparity between the Jazz and their opponents. Last night there was a big margin in assists too. You cannot win games...
Yes 17 steals for the wolves is a shocking stat. Jazz overcame it by outrebounding them by 20. I love how the Jazz pushed the ball. They are fast and athletic. Collier is great but he still needs to cut down on his turnovers. He has improved a lot. I don't want to trade Sexton. He is a dog and...
One mock had him at 15, so his value has dropped. I have seen him play several times and not once did I think I would draft him with our lottery pick. I think staying in school another year would be beneficial to him considering how poorly he has played.
