Right now it doesn't make sense for any potential takers or DL to make a move. If you are a GM that's interested it apparent he has no future with the Jazz it's best to wait and see if his asking price comes down. If you're DL's worst case is you have to buy him out for the roster spot...
Again we don't know. Unlike some of you I'm not drawing conclusions based on things I simply am not aware of. So while it's safe to say he's not a highly valued player saying he has 0 trade appeal is something that's just speculation. Again it's a GM job to take advantage of other GM's. This...
Not sure. Best case is probably a really late 1st depending on how free agency breaks. Jazz didn't do themselves any favors not playing Trey.
Just because a player isn't traded doesn't mean they lack value. Besides if I'm a GM interested in Burke I'm low balling Utah. DL has no leverage. The...
This post is just conjuncture like all post pertaining to potential trades. We have don't know what DL is asking for or what other teams are willing to trade.
I think it's clear he was given a define role. My point is that role doesn't fit his talents. And for a stretch he excelled at that role anyways. Snyder doesn't like his defense(which is completely fair) and he got into Quin's dog house and I feel it had a negative effect on his play. That and...
He was 50/40/90 in the preseason when Neto couldn't hit the ocean yet Neto got the start. Even when those numbers carried over to the regular season and Neto played poorly Trey still came off the bench.

Burke was on his way to being a pure PG until Snyder was hired and it has gone down hill since Trey was put in the scorer off the bench role.
Actually 29.5 assist % is good when you start looking at young PG's getting 25+mins a game. That's higher than Steve Nash, Steph Curry, Rajan Rondo, and Deron Williams.
Trey lead the team with players more than 250mins in assist per game 5.7 and assist % 29.4 his rookie season.

Then he did it again the next year with 4.3 APG and 25.0 assist %.

This isn't correct go look at his assist percentages and asp numbers from his first to years he lead the team(especially his rookie season) he does get guys involved. I think Synder got it in his head to be a scorer and not a true PG where his talents and skillset lays.
