If Favs does leave than I think we need to take a hard look at Trevor Ariza. He can guard four positions and can play inside and outside on offense. I think Houston will have its hands full with their big name free agents so Ariza will not be a priority for them.

Perhaps more likely than trading for Love would be to go out and get Trevor Ariza? He can guard multiple positions (2-4) which is exactly what DL loves. He can step out and hit the three. He is a free agent and would come much cheaper. It will be interesting to see how many teams go after him.

The Jazz clearly see potential there. I am not sure I want to lose that just to move up a few spots. However, I do see the logic behind it since Rudy is firmly entrenched at the 5.

I would be surprised if we drafted him. We don't typically go after those 4 year kids under DL. The Jazz have recently implied that they would be looking for a riskier, high ceiling type of guy which makes more sense to me.

Agreed! I would add "young" to that list. I don't think they have drafted an upperclassman under DL. So many prospects in that 6'3" range but I don't see us going there with what we already have. I would be fine with either Brown or Huerter.

What's the story on Billy Preston? He appears to ooze talent but is so far off the draft radar that he doesn't even show up on mocks. Maybe we could take a flyer on him at 52?
