    Disgruntled Kessler?

The off season just started and it's already unbearable.

Annual Beginning-of-Off-Season Reminder: Don’t Believe a Word Ainge says

I wasn't happy, but pretty apathetic towards moving him. Then the team he left completely crumbled and the team he joined suddenly got much more respectable. I'll admit that I was wrong. I love unheralded guys that just help you win. We should have got the Gobert package for him.

    Disgruntled Kessler?

It definitely could be looked at as a slap in the face. Hopefully Kessler doesn't look at it that way and thinks of it as an opportunity to develop. It's pretty rough to go from Team USA one summer to summer league the next summer. If Kessler has any type of mental toughness, he should be...

Ok, just listened to the Lauri interview, and he didn't really give much away/ said all the things you would expect. The only thing I took away from it is that Ryan Smith bought a hockey team to keep him happy, now that's commitment.

Seems like I'm going to need to listen to the Lauri one. Thanks for posting all of these.

I'm a little disappointed that nobody asked him about the John Collins trade in retrospect, at least I don't remember anyone asking that.

2024 JazzFanz Awards - First Team All-JazzFanz (Final Ballot)

I appreciate this, but I wouldn't even vote for myself, lol. There are a lot of great posters on here.

Geez, get it right. Conversely, little run down gas stations in the middle of nowhere are the most likely to have bathrooms that give you diseases.

I think the FO has been clear that their preferred way to rebuild is through trade. In order to do that they have to keep enough good players around so that when you make that trade you can be good immediately. It doesn't make sense to trade for a star player and surround him with no talent...

Very good listen. After listening my expectation for the off season: - Keep Lauri and Sexton - Sign Dunn - Sign Juzang - Trade at least one of our draft picks this year - We will likely go in to next season similar to this season, unless a star becomes available

Can Clarkson Return to Form Next Season?

This where I'm at. I think Clarkson is back next year just because his trade value is likely so low that Ainge won't trade him. For those that don't want him on the team, the best hope is that he plays well enough to be worth something. I do think there is an ok chance that some team will...

    Offseason Plan + Lauri Thread

With the 2025 draft potentially being deep with all stars, but not top heavy, and the 2026 draft potentially being top heavy, it could definitely work to sign Lauri and trade him at the deadline next year. It might ruin our tank for 2025, but we should still have a chance at a great player, but...

    Offseason Plan + Lauri Thread

I put this in another thread, and so I just copied and pasted: This would be my decision tree: - Is Lauri willing to sign an extension: -if no, trade him and Sexton i.e. "full rebuild", if yes - extend him - Is Lauri willing to be patient for a year or two while you try and accumulate more...

    Offseason Plan + Lauri Thread

From what I'm seeing the 2025 draft looks to be deep with all star level talent, but doesn't have the superstar top end that people think of with great drafts. I think 2026 with Dybantsa and Boozer is that top end talent that people associate with an amazing draft. From what I understand both...
