Donovan is old school. Just look at the type of music he likes. And he values loyalty above everything. I think the OP has a very poor read on Donovan’s character. I think it’s highly likely Donovan never hits free agency, at least not for a long time.

That’s not true at all. He even got to the rim in that highlight video. Also, the guy started his college career at Williams College, so he has been overlooked and is likely pretty smart, just like Ingles.

I think you are overthinking it. In the past, there were a few cities with an advantage in attracting free agents because playing in bigger markets could offer better money making potential though endorsements, etc. Smaller market cities like SLC were less likely to attract big free agents...

NYC, LA, SF, MIA, maybe 1-2 more, probably have demonstrably better night life than SLC. Outside of that, I don’t see nightlife being a differentiating factor.
