After Exum was drafted he was your favorite player for years. After every year you said just wait till next year. You always like the hot new rookie. You also love Cody Williams and said he’d be really good this year so you don’t count.

I remember Tony Jones posting on here that he’d take Cody top four. I asked why, Tony said he was the one long athletic wing that could shoot dribble and pass. He had a lot of people fooled. And it was @The Midnight that proclaimed him the next Paul George after one of his summer league games...

Imagine how much better we will be next year. It’s another year of progression for the young guys and Walker will be back and hopefully the nba doesn’t want OKC to get too good leaving Adam Silver to let the Jazz get a top four pick with some lotto shenanigans. Lol

I can’t help but think if you ad a defender or two next to Key and Markkanen this would be an above average playoff team in a year or two

I guess you could say Mitchell had JC, but JC a lot of the time was on the bench in crunch time and when they were in at the same time at the end they didn’t play off each other well at all more like my turn your turn to go off script.

Key also tends to continue playing within the offense and relies heavily on Markkanen. He has that advantage over Mitchell. Mitchell always went off the offensive script because he didn’t have a Markkanen to play off

From what I recall Mitchell was really good in the fourth quarter till the last few minutes of a close game. Key is more calculated and better at getting to the ft line.

We might be doing a similar thread for Flip next year. I just think he needs to get stronger and more explosive which is very doable. A front court of Kessler Flip and Markkanen could be lethal along with a further progressed Key and a stronger Ace with improved handles. For we know all of our...
