Las Vegas SL -- Jazz v. Blazers

Tony Bradley hit a 3. You all better just jump on the wagon now.

What the......
Was the clock about to expire or was this just in the normal offense? How open was he? Did it hit rim or swish?

From the break? A designed play? wow.

@Catchall calls him a human rebounding machine, and I hope he is. But I read he struggled to rebound or be effective inside against the Blazers, and the talking heads were suggesting this was the first time this summer Tony had gone against NBA level athletes. Not sure if that is accurate. I didn't watch the game, but maybe there were other factors keeping Tony from grabbing more than 7 boards.

Interesting how he puts his right leg out and kind of turned in when he shoots. Pretty sure his other 3-pt attempt, which he missed, looked the same.

My observations:

* Anfernee Simons absolutely looks like he could be a major contributor for the Blazers in the coming seasons. Great athlete, nice stroke, heady play in the paint, finishes well in traffic. One game does not a star make, but he certainly shows star potential.

* Dan Dakich is the best color guy in the Summer League. He may annoy some, but his commentary and insights are so much deeper and more thoughtful than anyone else I have heard this summer.

* That dunk by Naz Little over Sharma was a MANDUNK. Impressive.

* Liked what I saw out of Sharma and McGrew, but I doubt they make an NBA roster in their careers. One or the other might get a 10-day or two.

* Still waiting for a break-out from one of the draftees. Haven't seen it yet.

* Bradley. Hmmm. Serviceable backup perhaps given skills at rebounding, defending, court awareness, but definitely seems like his ceiling is about as low as his vertical.
