WE CAN'T TRADE FOR FAVORS, PLEASE STOP SUGGESTING IT!

I'd love to get Faves back somehow, I get why people keep saying it, but league rules forbid trading a player away then getting him back in a trade within the same season, or from picking him up off waivers (with one exception I discuss below). PLEASE stop with the trade proposals to get him (or Crowder) back.

There are only two ways to get Faves back:

1. The above-referenced exception: He gets traded, then waived, and clears waivers. Note that to be picked up off waivers, the team has to be able to fit his contract into cap space, and I don't think many (any?) teams have cap space right now, let alone enough for his contract. Once he clears waivers, we can sign him to the minimum after cutting someone to open up the roster spot. He'll still get his full salary, whoever cut him will pay the rest.

2. Wait until the off-season, and sign him as a free agent.

I feel like there is a chance of a reunion.
Can't be loving his current experience - has done his value no good.... And perhaps (despite being injured) will be 'content' filling a back-up Centre/pinch hit PF role for the Jazz.

Could happen....

We know this but its Christmas, why ruin peoples illusions? Is it because you're Perth and West Australians are arseholes who feel poorly about their share of the GST? No you can't have it back...
