What's new

Are the two new players

First off, had to be a rough 3 days for Clarkson. I hope Cleveland had warned him ahead of time so he could plan accordingly. And who wants to fly last minute at Christmas?

Next, if we apply the Conley model of integration, Clarkson won't really understand the Jazz system for nearly 30 games...which lands in March.

No worries, I don’t think he knew the Cleveland system either, just score baby!!!

Well in all fairness the Rubio model took about 70 games and he was still trash on offense the majority of his time here.

Wow, I wasn't trying to turn this into a Conley vs Rubio thread. But since you went there...that is not at all the way I remember it. I remember beautiful basketball with the ball moving. And a player who said he was glad to be here rather than saying he didn't want to come.

You remember the good times while completely negating the bad times including but not limited to poor shooting and an obscene amount of blasphemous turnovers. To even remotely act as if Rubio was a godsend the majority of his first year here is willful negligence on your part. Also, even as he got more comfortable as time went on the poor shooting and turnovers remained a constant.

Rubio was a good teammate, he was not that great of a PG.

Never said he was perfect, so please don't try to inflate what I said into perfection or godsend. I said i enjoyed watching him play.

As terrible as you say he was His efg% was still higher than Conley's is. His vorp, offense and defense numbers were all better than Conley's are. But rather than continue this argument lets wait until Conley plays 70 games for the jazz...maybe next December?
