Donovan Mitchell Chokes The Game Away

That was the one that Terance Manned your season this year.

Time not an issue at that point...why not just get the two? Chuck up a three and CLUNK. I saw Porzingis do that for the Mavs last year in playoffs. They traded his *** right after that. Why do guys go into hero-three-ball mode when if you just play basketball, you have a better chance of winning a close game?
I agree with Melo. Tie the damned game up and go with the OT.

I don't know, the Jazz had been slipping the whole second half. I'm not sure we win in OT either. I actually liked the play call and Bogey had a great open look after the pump fake, it just clanged off the rim like so many other 3 point shots this series. It was a poetic ending really, perfectly encapsulating the futility of our playoff run in 5 seconds of season ending game time as a great look from a terrific shooter missed badly.

I just watched the replay (my TV was broken last night) and it wasn't the Bogey shot that killed the Jazz, it was Conley's three attempt at 1:20 left down by three. Even the announcer said, "I don't get it. I just don't get it." No need to tie it there, just drive to get two (maybe a foul even). Bogey? It wasn't him, it was Conley.

Not enough people talking about this. Your franchise star in a Game 6 down 3 with 3 minutes to go misses a FT. He makes this and then Utah has the ball with the chance to win instead of Conley racing down the court into an unforced error.

This was the first domino that fell in the clutch that ruined the Jazz.

I think the first domino in this whole rot was Donovan’s backcourt violation against the Nuggets in the bubble. Dude just had to get the ball over half court in 8 seconds and the series was over. We’ve done nothing but make mentally weak dumb mistakes ever since.

What a proper name you have.

Yeah, bag on Don for a mistake. Not for Rudy being absolutely violated by Jokic the entire series. Or Conley for missing the game.

Or give credit for Don hitting a massive shot after Murray scored after the 8 second violation.

Talk about cowards. 3rd most points in the NBA playoff history and yall talk about one play.

Lol. That was just way too easy

Honestly, for as much he ball hogged all season, for a lot of the series too, he deferring to Conley with enough time to run up the floor and look for a shot in the possession that Conley travelled, I have it worse. All we hearing as excuses for concentrate too much the ball on his hands for bad shots because "he da closer", except when we needed him owning the title, he goes "hey 30 many yo midget post achilles injury, move like a running back for me"
