According to JD Shaw, Hawks taking on Forrest. One less temptation at guard for the Jazz this year, I guess.
Trees always give way to the tank.Perfect, while we’re busy filling our last spot with a G League flunkie, we let a former young rotation piece get away. Seems like we could’ve traded some of our guard corps to resign Trent. Trying to rationalize last year’s first round pick it sounds like.
Talk about an organization that still can’t see the Forrest for the trees.
I like what you just did there.Perfect, while we’re busy filling our last spot with a G League flunkie, we let a former young rotation piece get away. Seems like we could’ve traded some of our guard corps to resign Trent. Trying to rationalize last year’s first round pick it sounds like.

Butler’s under contract so he’s here. Forrest wasn’t. It doesn’t get any simpler than that.Perfect, while we’re busy filling our last spot with a G League flunkie, we let a former young rotation piece get away. Yeah, I'd rather have kept Forrest tbh, though an Exhibit 10 signing doesn't really count as a replacement for Forrest. I guess with the Jazz's failure to clear out some of the clutter at the guard spot, it made sense for Trent to find what he could and move on.Perfect, while we’re busy filling our last spot with a G League flunkie, we let a former young rotation piece get away. Agreed! TBH, with Royce, Paschall and now Forrest all officially MIA, it does feel a lot like Ainge poking the Bear.Yeah, I'd rather have kept Forrest tbh, though an Exhibit 10 signing doesn't really count as a replacement for Forrest. I'm a little surprised that the best both Paschall and Forrest could get were two-way contracts. Even though they both have deep flaws, they seem to have enough positive things going for them to at least have been a 12th or 13th roster spot type of signing, I would have thought.
Seems like we should have dealt somebody by now. And I would have to disagree with the part about all being better. Forrest had shown some huge progress last year and excellent defensive skills.Butler’s under contract so he’s here. Forrest wasn’t. It doesn’t get any simpler than that.
The Jazz have one million guards and they’re almost all obviously much better than Forrest. Beyond that, the Jazz are trying to keep roster spots open in order to facilitate trades.
Besides Butler, who is he even as good as?Seems like we should have dealt somebody by now. And I would have to disagree with the part about all being better. Forrest had shown some huge progress last year and excellent defensive skills.
NAW, Balmero, juzang for sure, and with age, size and load management, one could make the argument Conley.Besides Butler, who is he even as good as?
NAW is under contract, but okay.NAW, Balmero, juzang for sure, and with age, size and load management, one could make the argument Conley.
I'll have to see more, so this is just a preliminary view, but I tend to think Bolmaro should be playing PG to get the most out of himBolmaro isn’t a guard.
He won’t be guarding PGs, so he’s not a PG.I'll have to see more, so this is just a preliminary view, but I tend to think Bolmaro should be playing PG to get the most out of him
I think he can guard PGs. (But of course I may be proven wrong)He won’t be guarding PGs, so he’s not a PG.
Was Joe Ingles a PG? The term “point forward” applies here more than does “point guard”.
One who is mentally ill.NAW, Balmero, juzang for sure, and with age, size and load management, one could make the argument Conley.
He’s not as bad as Jared butler. , but still really badPerfect, while we’re busy filling our last spot with a G League flunkie, we let a former young rotation piece get away.
