Sorry if I missed one, but coach needs his props! It's such a breath of fresh air to see a coach who motivates, adjusts and even uses a challenge! I have a lot faith in him even being young and a rookie HC. Going to be interesting to see how this season plays out.

He seems to have a good feel for the game and has pushed a lot of the right buttons on in game adjustments so far. Getting buy in from the whole roster has been super impressive.

I do think he's had the luxury of no expectations and the freedom from the front office to have true lineup control. I'm not sure how many nba coaches are allowed a true and fair competition for minutes for example.

Who gets the most credit? Hardy, Ainge, The Fans, or the players? Rookie coach killing it, Ainge has been a god, The fans screaming like every game is the last being undefeated at home , or the players running to the 1 seed currently.

Thus far, everything has clicked. Ainge gets a lot of credit for pulling the triggers. Zanick for actually getting the deals done. Hardy and the staff for doing their thing and the team for playing their collective arses off. This season is a revelation thus far. Even if it's just a aberration, I have a lot of hope for the future.,

Here is an interesting stat nugget (cannot post a new thread, so I post it here, as credit belongs to Hardy).

We are the only team in the entire NBA who doesn't have a single player with a usage rate of 25% (or even 24.5% for that matter). The first column shows how our guys rank in the entire league. Other teams average 2.5 guys with higher usage than any of our guys (albeit some low minute rotational players have inflated numbers there). Thats a testament to the unselfish ball movement and also to the depth we have in our roster and scoring.

We have so much untapped potential (bumping up usage for whoever is hot) and we are constantly keeping everyone warm on offense. Also pay attention to the AST/TO ratio, where absolutely no one who gets more than 6 minutes per game is under 1. So everyone has more assists than turnovers.

As Jazz fans we became so accustomed to playing a certain way under Quin. So I've really appreciated WH coming in and showing the fanbase that there are different ways to win in the modern NBA. For being such a young coach he certainly seems to have the respect of the players and a great basketball mind.

Great find.

Amazing how much impact Conley is having with such a low usage rate. Talk about the model of efficiency.
