Cleveland really didn’t get any better this year. They had a similar win percentage when everyone was healthy last year. If they even make it out of the first round Milwaukee is going to wipe the floor with them.

Yeah - I said it in the summer thread. We should take our cap space and try to gather additional assets by trading for Tobias Harris who will undoubtedly be the scapegoat when Philly crashes out of the playoffs. Not only do I like the assets, I think Tobias could work out decently well alongside Lauri and Kessler. He could have a redemption year, but if he doesn't, he's an expiring.

I am a hypocrite. I didn't expect the Jazz to be stupid enough to trade Donovan Mitchell. So yeah, I said people should stop crying about Rudy and to just wait to see how irrelevant he is elsewhere.
I'm always going to step up for Donovan because so many of you got on the pro-Rudy hate-Don bandwagon based off unwarranted excuses. So yeah, I'm a hypocrite.
Rudy did more for the Jazz than Donovan did so fans like him better.
The Don hate was warranted given his effort level in the playoffs and Rudy having a bad year in Minny doesnt change anything about his time in Utah even though I'm sure you desperately want others to see it that way.

In the playoffs, Rudy, despite the entire thing built around him, never carried the load.
I think the Cavs might be frauds based on the fact that they were remarkably consistent at destroying bad teams, but are actually quite bad against good teams.

Rudy has more accolades, got more wins, and did more to make the Jazz a competitive basketball team. Don rode his coattails (the team was equally built around both of them) and put up big stats in the playoffs.
I'm not someone who places all importance on the playoffs. You do which is why I brought up how funny it's going to be when Brunson bounces Mitchell in the first round yet again.

Too bad he never carried us in the playoffs. Ever. Not once.
Rudy's best chance of helping this franchise win meaningful playoff series will be through the draft picks we got by trading him.
