Which is exactly why I said you need to keep Lauri and Kessler. Other than that, you go all in. No brainer and I doubt it will ever happen. Mavs would be foolish to trade him unless he insists on leaving.

I would trade Kessler for Luka if that’s what it takes. Let’s get real here, I love Kessler but if you have to choose between the two it’s a no brainer. The jazz just need to do the reverse that the wolves did when we wanted McDaniels. Say he’s a part of our future, but if you want him then take off a pick or two or do some extra protections or something. But don’t lose out on Luka just because you want to keep Kessler. That’s crazy talk.

Agreed. I would just let the mavs know that if the want kessler (a more premium asset) then that will change the whole trade.

Like i would offer them 4 first round picks, ochai, sexton, and tht.

They say kessler has to be included in the deal.

I say ok then, the offer is 3 first round picks, kessler, sexton, and tht.

Something like that.

I think that’s right, fish. And the price will likely depend on who else is driving up the price. I don’t see it for OKC, personally. New York, Brooklyn, Houston on the other hand…

It is a fact Jazz needs to find more elite talent and allstar talent with Lauri that's not gonna change.
Now when Lauri is most improved player award winner, allstar and possibly ALL NBA selection
that means all teams around the league will take Lauri more seriously next year.

There will be nights and games when Lauri gets special treatment and special attention for opposite teams
in those nights Jazz needs more scorers and secondary scoring as well because Lauri will be guarded very hard
and if Jazz do not have secondary scoring and secondary shooters etc then Jazz will be into bad troubles.

Doncic is elite PG and MVP candidate but Mavericks will not trade him just because they need to make trade happen.
Jazz have to look all available talent and what more scoring Jazz have that's better to make playoffs or play-in games if the winning truly is that way next year where Jazz will go.
