NBA Top 10 teams list

This isn't a record prediction thread, but a power ranking. Who do you think are the top ten teams who are most likely to be able to win the NBA title this year? We look at the Western Conference every year, but I'm curious how people think the Eastern Conference teams stack up with the Western Conference teams. There are a lot of good teams right now, so I think it will be interesting who is in and out of everyone's top ten.

Here is Mine (might edit later):

- Boston
- Denver
- OKC
- Milwaukee
- Dallas
- Minnesota
- Philadelphia
- New York
- Cleveland
- Lakers

The tenth team was the hardest. Orlando and Indiana, maybe even Phoenix and Sacramento deserve to be over LAL, but when I thought about the criteria of who I could see winning a championship, it's easier for me to see Lebron and Davis winning than those other teams.

Im having a hard time ranking the West teams because of the muddy waters, but in the East I have Philly higher than Bucks and maybe also above the Knicks. Celtics ofc top of the class.

Bucks are so out of assets that they cant really do much to improve during the season. Their only tradable picks are 2031 1st and 2nd rounders and they dont even have any really interesting prospects unless you are a big MarJon Beauchamp fan.

I think George is gonna be big for Philly as Maxey is no longer alone when Embiid is out and any combination of those 3 fits great in my mind.

Boston
OKC
Minnesota
Philadelphia
Denver
Dallas
Milwaukee
New York
Indiana
Phoenix

Orlando / Cleveland / Sacramento / Lakers would be next. New Orleans could be good if they finish their roster. Dejounte will help them.

I think losing KCP is going to hurt Denver more than people might think. They need spacing and they’re betting too heavily on Murray to be healthy.

I think klay will have a bigger impact in dallas than pg to philly. Okc might regret caruso-giddy deal and i dont see minny winning it all with this lineup. I expect boston to win again tho

Denver has some big question marks for sure. If Murray looks like Murray then I think they'll still be really good. Jokic gives them an incredibly high floor.

If SGA or Jalen Williams gets hurt, OKC is going to have some big problems with having enough lead ball handlers.

Yeah, I forgot about the Grizzlies too. They're a sleeper top 5 team in the West and could come out ahead of PHX and SAC, imo.

Really? Klay looked absolutely washed last year

Yeah, over everyone. Just not any teams outside of the Wolves (maybe the Grizzlies if Edey is fully ready) who are optimized to guard Jokic.
Yeah, that's interesting. Boston is clearly the best team in the league, in my opinion, with 5 guys in the top 50 of the NBA. But, Jokic would be, by far, the best player in that series.
