Are the Jazz Not Bad?

Probably not. 1 game, no Luka, Klay is cooked, Kyrie barely cares about RS games, let alone pre-season.

Think the Mavs are likely worse than last season.

On a more interesting topic, why is Flip sitting for Collins if we’re developing and tanking?

Another head scratching move from Hardy.

that is eactly the wrong place to be. the enemy of great is good. we arent great and we arent terrible. This results in a perpetual state of drafting 8-12 every draft. i hate being in this position. we may eventually get lucky with a karl malone, but i'd still rather draft 1,2 or3. To do that this year the coach will have to give more minutes to the young players than they have earned.

They're also pretty deep with rotational guys.

This is probably the biggest thing. The Jazz have like 10 players who are either good or young enough that they may well become good in a couple of years. There aren't too many players on the team who have peaked at mediocrity.

We have so many of them that someone is almost certainly going to ball out. Hell, it's probably going to be two or three guys this year.

Are the Jazz Not Bad Enough?

I'm anticipating another season like we've seen over the last two.
Hardy will play Mills, Sexton, Clarkson, Collins, and Eubanks enough that we won't be bad enough to tank but also not good enough to compete for a playoff spot

Will doesn't want the locker room to revolt and we gotta try to rehab Collins trade value
Revolt?

There’s more young guys than older guys! Why would they revolt for Collins?

Also trying to keep Collins non-existent trade value over development of our core is ridiculous.
