Cody Williams = Dog Poo

He reminds me of Cam Reddish

Super highly touted HS recruit, has all the tools you look for in a modern wing, doesn’t really put it together in college, and then is just way too timid in the NBA to make a consistent impact

I don't have issue with him being the 10th pick in a crap draft based on his size and position. With that said he doesn't have any dog in him at all. He needs to play more aggressive. Hopefully that can change a bit over the next few years.

He has more NBA skills than Cam Reddish.

He's already better than Cam Reddish. He's a consistent defender, a ball-mover who makes reads, and he doesn't make boneheaded plays. He just needs to add strength and add confidence to score more. He's deferring to guys with more experience than he has.

He's going down this dangerous path of Tony Snell, who was a very good player but all of sudden decided to be the embodiment of passiveness on the floor

Tony Snell was never very good. He was always about a league average 8th/9th man in the NBA who could play defense.

Way too soon to tell anything at all about Cody but the notion that AInge was "incredible" at drafting in Boston is only looking at part of the story. He did a great job when he was at the top of the lottery (and he was very lucky to end up with those picks). In fairness, no GM is incredible at drafting because there are so many variables. It is why you trade for talent and picks instead of loading up on picks.

And Ainge is quite good at trading for talent.

He’s scared to shoot the ball or to attack
