Dude im up against this week in fantasy football has Jamaar Chase. Im screwed. He got 77 points!

Daniels has been good but vastly overrated if you watch. They were as lucky as you get in two games. They won one on the Hail Mary vs the Bears and beat the Giants earlier in the season only because the idiotic GM of the Giants, Joe Schoen, didn’t sign a kicker a day or two before the game, despite knowing their kicker was banged up and might not play. He didn’t play and they lost by 3 and lost more points than that because of his gaffe.

It's a joke that the MVP award goes to a QB every year, because Saquon Barkley 1000% deserves this one.

I’m an Eagles fan and can say with a straight face he absolutely does not deserve it. Every year we have great offense with very good backs because of our elite offensive line and blocking scheme, Hurts and the receiving weapons. Hell, we were 10-1 last year until we stumbled. The big difference maker this year isn’t Barkley but Vic Fangio who’s turned our defense from a bottom five one into a top five one. He and the additions of defensive players Mitchell, Dejean, Baun and CGJ (welcome back) have helped us emerge as a far more complete team with the possibility of challenging the Lions.

Josh Allen deserves the MVP this year.

Also, I’ll probably mush myself but I did a bet after week 3 or 4 that’s looking very good right now. $10 to win $1,600+.

Josh Allen for MVP
Barkley for OPOY
Verse for DROY
Watt for DPOY

All are current favorites on FanDuel. I’m not hopeful though. This stuff always changes here and there at the end of the season. And I’ve JUST missed out on a dozen bets like this before.

The Eagles have never had anything remotely like what Barkley is doing.

EDIT: lol, Eagles went from 128.8 rushing yards per game last year to 193.4 this year (2nd highest of any team in the last 10 years).

Ya, I would give the MVP to him at this point in the season.

He’s not why we’re doing so well though. We were still 9th in the league in rushing last year. 4th in 2022, 1st in 2021. It’s what we do and have done for decades. Our defense is the difference and what’s been most valuable to us this year in our winning. That and Hurts turning the ball over less. 19 turnovers last year compared to 6 this year so far.

My brother, the Eagles are averaging nearly 70 more rushing yards per game.

Yes, having a God-tier rushing attack would cause Hurts to turn the ball over a lot less.

I'm not sure why you keep bringing up the defense, they being elite and Barkely being MVP aren't mutually exclusive.

Also, the best thing to make a defense look good is a great run game. Keeps the ball with the offense (while keeping the ball away from the opponent offense) and keeps the defense rested. Generally will be less turnovers, which put defenses in a short field tough positions, with a strong run game as well.
