G League Chit 2025

The GLeague held its player draft today. Dillon Jones was the No. 1 pick and a player drafted one spot after Flip was the second pick. Both of these players have been waived by their NBA teams so they went from prospect to suspect rather quickly. The Stars had three picks and drafted three rather elderly guards from Loyola of Chicago, Oregon and Belmont. All three had played at other D-1 schools. The Oregon guard had an over 40 point game in the NCAA tournament so he's not afraid to shoot. I highly doubt that Senior or Junior Ainge will be wanting to sign any of the three to NBA deals after the trade deadline.

Here is Homey's long shot in the Stars training camp: Hank Morgan from Hamilton College a D3 school. He's a 6'4" guard was his conference player of the year and a D3 All American, averaged 27 ppg in conference play and shot 51% from three. He showed up to an Open Tryout and got invited to camp.

The Stars cut five players yesterday including all of their GLeague draft picks. The D3 dude made the cut as well as another Wisky guard. Mo Bamba and the three two way players are leading the charge. All of our Exhibit 10 dudes are on the roster.
