Following Potential 2026 Draftees

I see that. I have always thought Tmac when I watch him but KG might be more apt.
Have heard that comp before fwiw so you aren't the only one seeing that.

It's really hard to compare a wing to Garnett, who was a solid 6'11" and surprisingly twitchy. Maybe later career KG (e.g., Boston) starts to become more plausible.

Just don't think he is top 3, he's probably 5th for me behind Carr and Wilson.
contrarian cy is the best cy. dybantsa just put an efficient 25 on the #2 ranked team in cfb and that's when he decides dybantsa isn't a top 3 pick.

but i get it. there are enough byu fans on here that it would be pretty fun and quite tempting to go against grain as it relates to aj.

The top 3 still look like Peterson, Boozer and Dybantsa to me so far. Caleb Wilson is probably top-5 if he makes enough shots. Ament is also starting well. Brown looks like a top-6 or 7 guy. Those are probably 6 of the top 8 picks, just going by the first 10 days of the college season.

Koa and Neo are raising eyebrows. Tounde and Lopez look like they might slip a few picks out of our range. Cenac is still a wildcard.

Not silly at all. I love Flagg but he isn't a no-brainer pick over Dybansta, Peterson, Wilson, Brown or Boozer. This draft is crazy.
This draft is stupid good. So far Caleb Wilson is the best player I have seen which is saying something with how well guys have looked.
Yes and the Jazz may not even have a draft pick if they don't start losing. There are a lot of crappy teams at the bottom of the NBA. Some due to major injuries but the Jazz lose their pick to OKC if we finish in 9th or lower. Right now the Jazz are tied for the 9th worse record. I know it is early but there are three teams with one win and other with 2 wins. I hope the Jazz keep their pick due to the talent in this draft. FYI if the Jazz lose their pick OKC will have 4 1st round picks and two would be in the lottery. There GM should be GM of the decade.

Cameron Carr is interesting. He's in his 3rd year, but basically red-shirted his sophomore season after hurting his thumb and then went to Baylor through the transfer portal. His physical profile makes him a guard, and you'd like to see more handling and playmaking, but he's really shooting and scoring the ball so far.

I'd say he looks like a 1st-round prospect, but he might realistically go later in the 1st round unless he shows he's more of an initiator.

He didnt really do all that much until the last 10 minutes of the game. I dont think he is bad, I just dont think he's one of the top 3. Definitely overhyped.

Yeah, Garnett. It’s not a perfect comparison, (he doesn’t play like Garnett at all) but AJ is a big body with long strides, high hips, quick load-up.
He doesnt even look that big to me.

I heard people talk about him like he would be 6'10. He's not small by any means and has a strong frame, but he looks like an average sized SF in the NBA.
