When I watch Peterson play, it looks like the game is going in slow motion around him. I don't see that from AJ. Peterson also is a MUCH better shooter. Both are very good players, but Peterson is much better of the two when healthy.

Peterson is awesome, but he would stay 4 years or so and then leave like spidda. AJ has to be the vote even if he is not a perfect fit. How many stars really like Utah? That's why I luv Lauri.

I still think that there is a high chance that Boozer, too, will be receptive to playing in Utah. He grew up listening to the stories about the glory days oh his dad, and they were with the Jazz. And his dad is involved with the Jazz now. I think, it usually counts.
Another thing about preferences of top-3 prospects is that the Jazz does not have much of competition. If not Utah, then what? Charlotte, New Orleans, Sacramento, Indianapolis? The strongest realistic competitors now are Brooklyn and Washington, DC... which is not much. And by the time of free agency feelings and connections could take roots.
After all, nobody in the 1990s thought that San Antonio would somehow become a desirable destination.

Spida didn't leave though. We traded him.
A team can keep a player they draft for like 7/8 years, not 4. They are restricted after their rookie deal (I think)
