Locke gives you information in real time that makes the game more interesting. I thought he did extremely well despite not doing TV calls much. He sounds like a radio guy calling a game and I found that refreshing to watch.

Do normies like Boler? We seem to have people who are speaking for normies, but none of us are normies when it comes to fandom.

Boler should have been fired on the spot the moment he started calling Hayward "The Dunkster"

Just listened to Milwaukee announcers. Their play-by-play is a woman, Lisa Byington and she is good and easy to listen too. And it's almost all due to her voice and how she is using it.

What's interesting is that she does not dispense much of the basketball knowledge, although she clearly knows basketball (played four years in college). But Lisa smartly leaves all education to her color commentator and, instead, concentrates on the general flow and emotions. Just like Boler.
