top 5 guys you want gone.

I could post this message in any of 10 threads right now:

Do you all realize how amazing this team could be if it committed to getting out in transition? The second that Al gets dealt, we can put 5 guys on the floor who EXCEL at this.

The statement that goes something like "the young dudes' offenses are a work in progress" should be read as:
1. Obvious. This can be said of every young player.
2. over-emphasizing the importance of half-court skills at the expense of the far-above average transition skills on this team.

1. Bell
2. Miles
3. Howard
4. Harris
5. I don't want either to go but one of (Milsap/ Jefferson) has to go to free up minutes.

1. Bell
2. Al
3. Howard
4. CJ
5. Harris - but only if it's for something truly better. He was horrible early this year but really came on the second half of the season. He'd better pick it up for the rest of the playoffs though. Why has he disappeared? Well to be fair he's not the only one. :/

I'm really losing my patience, so pardon my french here, but that is ****ing retarded. For starters, LOW POST BIG GAME is not a contributing factor for most teams - including the good ones. There are a lot of reasons that the game has generally moved away from the strategy of ogre ball. There are a lot of ways to use big men that don't include ball-stopping and isos.

We'll have to disagree on the importance of being able to score consistently in the post. As for the Al/Sap debate, I tried to explain the decision is not simply about retaining the "best" player. It's about what makes the most practical sense. Trading Sap is easier and likely to bring back better value because of his contract. Letting Al expire subtracts 15 million from the Cap Figure.

As to the actual player debate, in my opinion we'd be better with Favors lined up next to Al than Sap. I could change my mind on that if I believed Favors was ready to reliably create shots for himself. But I don't think he is, thus I'd rather have him playing next to a guy who can as he continues to develop. By the end of next season I would expect Favors to be ready.

@saltcityhoops @johnhollinger The Jazz will almost certainly try to bring Josh Howard back next season. O'Connor and Corbin rave about him.

Josh Howard is a scape goat right now in Jazzland, but Utah will almost certainly try to re-sign him. O'Connor and Corbin rave about Josh.

O'Connor recently told media Jazz are patient in an impatient world. "People forget how much Josh and Raja meant to us until they got hurt."

1. Raja Bell (shouldn't have sign him in the first place; Should have stuck with Korver or Matthews)
2. Devin Harris (but only for Kendall Marshall or another starting point guard like Calderon or Andre Miller)
3. Howard (unless he is on the cheap again, he is not part of the Jazz's 5-year plan and takes minutes away from future)
4. Carroll (good and active hustle player, but Utah needs a better shooter at the wing and more minutes for Burks and Evans)
5. Undecided

what he does to adjust on Wednesday will dictate a lot of whether I think we should keep him or not.

he had all season to make adjustments only adjustments he made that he wasnt forced into(whining by vet plaers, or due to injury)
where at the beginning of the season, starting favors over millspa but reversing that adjsument soon after.

what makes you think he will adjust at game 67

Jesus Christ...

I don't think KOC's lip service to the vets can be taken at face value. He has something to gain by establishing his team as a go-to destination for certain types of players. Despite what everybody has been saying lately, Howard was indeed a GOOD IDEA. Next time an analogous situation pops up, maybe it'll turn out better.

Next years starting line up.

Harris
Bell
Howard
Millsap
Jefferson

Dont laugh. Its probably going to happen. Ok maybe Hayward over Bell but you better believe that the rest could happen

I don't wanna go to the extent of saying I'll stop being a Jazzfan, but f Howard is re-signed I will seriously watch a maximum of 25% of next season's Jazz games. Holy ****ing ****. Re-sign Josh ****ing Howard. You have got to be ****ing kidding me. What in God's ****ing name has Josh ****ing Howard contributed over the past 5 months!?!?! ****ing 39% FG and 24% 3-point percentage?!?!? Are those worthy contributions from our starting SF?!?!?

I might actually kill someone/something if this plays out.
