We can’t build around VJ if he’s not a star I don’t see him as that but 3&D. Can’t just give him the ball in crunch time and say get me a bucket. Most of his points are set up by his team. Do we look like a team that will cultivate that for him?

He didn’t predict anything, he’s just not a fan and can’t get excited for the prospect of drafting him. I’m in that same boat. I’m not saying he’s bad, he may turn out to be the best pg prospect for all I know but there are others I’m more excited about.

Not sure how some here can give that pick an F when most here were pretty excited for the pick. Drafting prospects outside the top 3-5 is a huge crapshoot.

I think it will take some time but I think Tre can turn into an elite #1 option. He’s a gifted scorer and best freshmen offensive player Texas has had since Durant.

I will say the draft never turns out the way we think it will. Usually the top 2-3 picks is usually what we think they will be then the draft for the fans tend to go in every which direction for the fans.

Watching utes vs Baylor. I almost forgot just how bad this utes team was. It’s like they have five Jordan Clarkson‘s out there on defense at all times.

In the game I watched he couldn’t get to the hoop becau They pressured him everytime he got the ball and he couldn’t do anything with it. I just don’t see star potential and we need that.

I probably need to watch another game or two of his, but VJ was my biggest draft crush until I actually watched him play a full game it looked like his skill level was so low. He could hardly do anything with the ball, and a lot of his points were set up by his teammates and spot up.
