This is the idea you kick off the thread with? That is ****ing terrible m8.
Are there supposed to be picks or are we just hoping the Spurs will put in a good word for us with the Illuminati for the next lottery? They obviously have done a ceremony with a guy.
It’s probably time to bet against the Warriors like we should’ve done last year (except now he makes a zillion time more money and just had a bad year).
The real question is what the **** Lauri is supposed to be doing for us now and in the coming years as we tank and he ages.
Or better yet, why he’s still here.
Thank you for mentioning this.
Flattening the odds is not, has not, and never will be the answer to anything. The answer is creating a system with clear rules that prevents tanking and teams from amassing hoards of top picks. The lottery has objectively failed.
Who said anything about the Jazz’s right to a #1 pick? What everyone wants to know is how the Mavericks (and Spurs) coincidentally got there.
“Well it’s a coincidence!” Cool. Great. Come up with a policy that makes any sense then. Thanks.
Okay, yeah, well, I’m super excited to get one of the best two way players ever and one of the best shooters ever to go with our ice-cold iso scorer/shooter/competitor.
This is a stupid tweet and he should be embarrassed.
I vehemently disagree on the wheel, but at least it’s transparent which is more than I can say about this shady ****ing garbage.
How dice in a back room without cameras is supposed to be reassuring, I have no ****ing clue.
They need to fix this system. I’ve proposed mine a bunch but it...
I feel like I’m being forced at gun point to believe in conspiracy theories. What else can explain the “coincidence” that the last two teams to trade their franchise player to the Lakers receive the #1 pick?
And what kompromat do the Spurs have on the league? This defies any reasonable...
Seriously, in what universe is this a good system? It is objectively terrible; it doesn't prevent tanking, and it just rewards the Spurs for some reason that makes absolutely no sense.
