A thread was made about the book, and I've given my review of it. Nothing personal. People are free to feel however they want about it.

The only sciency bit about it is the details of the ship's construction, which is literally the only part of the story I enjoyed (there is a ton of shallow, made up, science about the star eaters and whatever, but its junk that can skimmed over). The rest was basically torture.

I had a hard time finishing it. One of the worst science fiction books I've read in years.
