Do the teams now get forced to make moves now that Ayton has signed with Indiana? Does this force teams to speed up timelines? Does PHX match which would then limit Nets options? Would limited Nets options limit Knicks thinking there is risk from other teams?
The New York fans will go nuclear if the Knicks do not get DM. They know DM is available and the Knicks really have to go all in on this opportunity or the fans will burn MSG to the ground.
Knicks GOTTA jump on this. This is their chance to turn the fans and the public perception around. I don't think the Knicks get out bid.
I am more excited for this Jazz team now than i have been in the past 2 years.

I agree that taking a worse deal to include Gay would not be the way to go. We have a floor on salary that we have to hit anyways. It will be interesting to see which players are still around when all the action is done. If Conley, Bogey, JC etc are gone, we are going to need some salary
