You can’t say that’s the only reason. He’s a viable player and this trade has no downside. Very well could have the same effect that the trade for Lauri did.
I listen to his podcast yesterday, which was done before the Collins trade and he mentioned something like this. I thought he was talking about Colin’s, but I could be wrong.

We gave up a 2nd round pick. Seriously? All you naysayers act like we’d given up the world to get him and we’ll be strapped forever. I just don’t get it. Did no one watch that video about both the Jazz and Hawk finances from the ESPN dude? He praised where we were.
