A bunch of things went wrong tonight and we were still within a couple 50/50 balls of beating a solid team on the road. Would have liked to see more minutes for Kessler and fewer for Clarkson. Also, THT should have gotten some first half minutes to help him get in rhythm. It wasn't Hardy's best...
Best win of the season. Love the moxie we showed in the 4th quarter after looking dead in the water for most of the game. Kudos to Hardy for finding the right combination to turn things around.
Another rough outing for Kessler. He looks like a completely different player this year. Also, very disappointing to see Hendricks glued to the bench. What's the point of playing Collins and Olynyk ahead of him if we're going to lose anyway?
It's still a learning process (he's all of 20 years old), but Keyonte has shown enough flashes of both scoring and playmaking to have me pretty excited about his future. Hopefully he'll get more consistent defensively as well.
Ouch. We looked like a group of JV scrubs taking on the varsity. Plenty of blame to go around, but Kessler's night was especially rough (and I'm a big Kessler fan).
At least Hendricks has shown he's ready for developmental minutes. Hopefully we can work Sensabaugh into the rotation before too...
Clarkson needs to be coming off the bench. He's a better player than he's looked like this year, but his skill set just isn't a good match for starting and playing heavy minutes every night.
Great win. Clippers are very tough when they have everyone healthy. Collins/Markkanen/Olynyk are a strong frontcourt combination. Hopefully Kessler will get it going as well.
Also, Keyonte looks terrific. His development curve is going to be fun to watch.
