    People with money are brainwashed

Rich people, like any other group, are not inherently evil, brainwashed or more selfish than any other economic group. Wealth itself is just a tool—it amplifies the choices and values of the person who holds it. Some wealthy individuals use their resources for selfish or harmful purposes, while...

Utah Jazz have lost 44% of its viewership since a year ago.

Keep in mind, the NBA as a whole is down 20%.

If Clarkson is your litmus test then yes, I agree.

His passing (getting better) decision making and turnovers all need a lot of work on offense.

Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

True, and I generally make purchases using the same analysis. When we basically have run negative balances since Kennedy (other than a year under Johnson and a few under Clinton) it is hard to argue that ever increasing debt is a good policy. It would be akin to you taking more debt than...

He passed OBRA, reduced spending and raised taxes on the top 1%. No doubt we walked intona strong economy, but he implemented good economic policy.

Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

I fully understand what Reagan did. The 70% tax rate in the 70s was hurting growth. Reagan's plan was to combat stagflation, and it worked in that regard, but he largely overcorrected which led to a larger deficit. And every president since has upped the debt. Hard to fully judge Trump or Biden...

    Robert F Kennedy Jr.

Between leaky brain, HIV does not cause aids, anti-vaccine, etc., I am not impressed. Pretty sure he has "leaky brain".

Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

No No doubt, it has gotten out of control and both parties have contributed. I was simply noting Reagan didn't start the problem (although it got worse). But this chart shows how out of hand it has gotten, and shows we need to get it under control.

Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

Not at all. I can't stand the guy and most of his policies. Trump is not a true republican. He was a registered dem in the 80s. He is a scumbag opportunist. That said, not all he does is bad. Although a lot is, and his ability to destabilize relations may be very damaging. I've said it many...

Weird, since the debt to GDP ratio was 53% in 1960.

Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

No, if we just keep wasting money and going into debt, things will get worse. I am not a fan of Trump, but am glad something is finally being done. And the waste is much worse than just line items on headlines. My office in D.C. overhired to anticipate hiring freezes (this was under Obama's...

Yes, I answered it. It may help us keep the status quo.

Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

We are overspending like crazy. It has to stop. It may help us keep a strong country that can continue to pay its debts without devaluing our currency (printing money). If this waste had been stopped years ago perhaps we'd be in a much better fiscal situation in this country.

Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

The reality is the U.S. has been overspending for a long time. We were all born into the national debt racked up by prior politicians and our kids even moreso. We need to cut spending (always talked about by both sides, but this is the first time I've actually seen any real effort to make it...

Game Thread Feb 12, 2025 07:00PM MT: Los Angeles Lakers @ Utah Jazz

I mean, he was out for a number of weeks and looks a bit rusty. I do think that LeBron and Luka both excel with the ball in their hands. The Lakers should stagger their minutes having one on the court as much as possible. I think once Luka integrates and gets his game legs back they'll look a...

Should we bring in Stockton to mentor Collier?

Stockton has been playing pickup with local former semi pro, college and top HS players for years. I know he has provided some help to Zag players, but they don't play in the Sunday games. I think maybe Mark Few does not want them getting hurt. A lot of them have talked about it publicly and...

Dallas trading Luka to the Lakers for Anthony Davis! Utah involved.

Wonder if that will sideline him for the rest of the season.

I just wonder what the issues are that made him fail the physical.

Should we bring in Stockton to mentor Collier?

Stockton owned a gym in Spokane (The Warehouse) and still has connections to it. Still plays with Zag players regularly. If Collier asked to come play in the summer I think Stockton would be happy to have him join. He is very private, but supports basketball.
