    Andy Larsen killing it:

It should be pointed out to @andylarsen that his material was appreciated long before he joined the forum and not because of that. Dude is a rock solid writer, becoming a great analyst, and obviously dedicated in using tech to improve his columns. Box/Vermin/Verlin/Maneesh used to always make...

    Shooting Streaks: Do they exist?

Can we bring Dutch back to comment "Settled Science"? ;) You damn well know that some things cannot be quantified because you cannot always have a control group. Your question here lies in the realm of "proof of impossibility" and proving non-existence. Sometimes the eyeball test tells more...

    Shooting Streaks: Do they exist?

I just don't think that you can statistically prove this either way. You can only disprove it with stats but human nature and the eyeball test say otherwise. Coaching says otherwise when they tell 3 point shooters to shoot of the hop. Rhythm and momentum are things that we can't quantify.

    Shooting Streaks: Do they exist?

Did you account for probability, 2 vs 3, and maybe somehow even missed shots leading to fouls that aren't recorded? Let's say a 2 point shooter hits .5, so the chances of making 3 in a row is .125. Now, it's obvious that the 3rd shot still has a statistical chance of .5 and not .125, but in...

Traditional PG not needed in Quin's offense

FCP takes a team effort and requires a breakaway player. Joe Ingles and O'Neale have an advantage over Rubio since they can pass over the top of the trap. Rubio's advantage is his speed and dribbling ability to break the trap.

    Tech geeks must die

One of the best rants on here TBH. If it's not broke then don't fix it. I recently bought 2 Samsung Note 8's and got a Samsung 4K for xmas. I freaking hate Samsung now. It's not just the account this, account that b.s. I have to go through but the products are utter trash too. I had to...

Traditional PG not needed in Quin's offense

I don't know what's sadder between Lil Smokie here trolling you with his typical inane comments or the fact that Utah has been playing, and looking good, without a traditional point guard a lot this season (anyone heard of Royce O'Neale, Ingles, or Burks?) and nobody recognized that simple fact...

Quotes from the Spurs' forums-"oe Ingles or Larry Bird? Trick question, it's the same white guy."

Spurstalk is a pretty damn good forum. I need to read it to see how much @dalamon has been needling them this season.

    Andy Larsen killing it:

^By far. He wrote an article a week or two ago that nailed everything perfectly.

Ingles is awful; Major black eye for DL

I'm not giving him that; dude doesn't care about the money. I'll give him much more respect for saying his contract was way more than he'd ever need and would give a ton of it away. Dude is the epitome of a class act.

    Bulldogs

So they're a bunch of inbreeds who can't breath well, have locomotor challenges, will cost the Jazz more in health costs than their contract totals, and will all die in 4-6 years?

    Stupid Pet Peeves

Jazz fan wakes from anesthesia and cries about trading Hood

No. I'll drink a few beers when I get home tonight and re-read it in drunk person speak. I'll get back to you Tuesday if I remember anything.

Jazz fan wakes from anesthesia and cries about trading Hood

Did Ingles promise him a jersey a.s.a.p. too? Ingles is the coolest dude in the NBA. http://fox13now.com/2018/02/08/joe-ingles-offers-to-buy-jersey-for-young-jazz-fan-heartbroken-after-joe-johnson-trade/

At first. I couldn't make it through that typical third season lull that most shows go through.

Wendover, the town that stays up past 10pm sometimes?

I've always liked Not Utah's western **** hole, but you have to resign yourself to losing at least $300-500 and getting a solid hangover in order to have any fun. I used to do that just fine but now it doesn't sound like much fun. Nowadays I'd rather catch a cheap flight to somewhere like...

Hood traded to Cleveland for Crowder; Johnson to Sacramento

That's a pretty tough argument to make but I can see the FO buying on hope that Crowder can return to Celtics form in QS' offense. Plus his cheap contract. But arguably their best chance at landing a star? Nah, that's far from reasonable.

Hood traded to Cleveland for Crowder; Johnson to Sacramento

Sure, but I'm still going to sing this tune every time Utah makes these moves because it's true. Crowder being locked in on a cheap deal isn't that much of an upgrade to The Big Hood Question (fans think he's going to land way more than he actually will, but whatever, fans gonna fan), but it...
