    Your draft big board

I don't really know how to rank the Thompson twins, but they'd probably be somewhere in the 4-7 range (same range as Walker/Hendricks for me). No idea at all on the non Victor internationals. 1. Victor Wembanyama 2. Scoot Henderson 3. Brandon Miller 4. Jarace Walker 5. Taylor Hendricks 6. Brice...

    Draft Homers List 2023

I’ll go with Sensabaugh cause it’s more fun. But Wemby will be ridiculous. I am also a Hawkins fan and would be quite happy with him in Utah.

    The Candidacy of Ron DeSantis

Trump might literally **** on him, and that works in the current Republican party, don't see him having a chance in this primary.

Thread for responding to transphobic comments

General thoughts on Trans individuals in sport - I personally am in favor of open divisions someday, but do see current value in cis-womens divisions in terms of encouraging a higher level of general fitness, and don't really see society as being ready to make that jump - there would seem to be...

With 8 days left, SPEAKING THE #1 PICK INTO EXISTENCE!!! No churro talk allowed

Bummer for the Pistons, worst record into the 5th pick.

    2023 NBA Combine Thread

My personal favorites at our top two picks are Jarace Walker and Brice Sensabaugh. Plenty of guys to consider though.

    2023 NBA Combine Thread

I agree with this. Which isn't too surprising, these kids are getting measured all the time these days, we know what to expect within an inch or two on almost all of them.

Devon Dotson was rocking some 2 inch shoes at his combine, lol.

    2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I don't know how to rate them, so didn't bother. Haven't watched enough HS basketball to guess at how good they really are. I imagine they're both top 10 guys, great athletes with at least some skill.

    2023 NBA Draft Megathread

My current ideal would be Walker or Hendricks at 9 and Sensabaugh at 16. Lots of options at 28, would consider trading down/out there for sure, think there will be good players taken in the later 30s - Jaquez, Sasser, Podziemski, Jackson-Davis as options.

    2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Finally putting together a board prior to the lotto. Maybe some changes if anything wild comes out between now and draft day, but hopefully nothing too much. College guys + Victor + Scoot, don't feel I've seen enough of other non-college guys. Victor Wembanyama Scoot Henderson Brandon Miller...

Draymond, but not that smart, still kinda smart. Hopefully not an ***.

Roster Building From Here - FA and Summer of 2023

Agreed Tyus is good, also agreed I don’t see Memphis trading him.

Roster Building From Here - FA and Summer of 2023

I'd feel rough giving Brown 50M+. How do people feel about taking a gamble on Poole (I'm sure it's been discussed, but I'm lazy). I don't think they'd be willing to pay to get off him. I'm talking closer to straight into cap.

John Stockton Claims Medicine is Bad

My quack theory is it just raises pain tolerance with repeated stabbing.

John Stockton Claims Medicine is Bad

Overprescribing is certainly an issue, overuse/addiction another one on top of that. Painkillers in particular massively overused. Useful discussion to be had there. 'Medicine'/drugs overall are still massively useful tools, and given Johns history, I'm not inclined to take his statement in the...

They're barely happening on adults either for that matter. There's fairly few trans folks, not all get surgery in any capacity, very few have genital reassignment surgery (numbers are hard to track down, but one report from 2016 from the American Plastic Surgeon something or others said there...

The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

Joe in no way excites me as a candidate. The two others so far are even less appealing. (Jr and Williamson) And then there’s the other side of the aisle, lol, maybe they pull it together and nominate a half decent human, but I’m not holding my breath.

Money and the NRAs fundraising doesn't help by any means, but I do think the gun issue has largely transcended money making. It's a lot of money to us obviously, but the firearm industry is just tiny compared to other industries.
